My girl-friend is looking into this field on the grounds that its a career she could like or at the very least deal with and it’s fairly grounded and secure in terms of job security since there will always be a need for this kind of work.

I’m curious. I know the chances are remote, unfortunately. Just thinking up future jobs; I have a long period of time ahead of me though, so no worries.

I’m interested in Psychology, however, my communication skills are poor, and I dislike socializing. Tricky.
No, I was more thinking of a Research Psychologist, or a Neurologist. From what I know, there is no counseling involved, or anything like that.
I want to be a computer technician, but not deal with any electronics.

I want to be a Fish and Game Warden but i recently found out from a recruiter that I can’t be one due to the Class A misdemeanor I have. So I want to know if there is a career I can do that pays good in Criminal Justice so I don’t have to change my major and start all over again. I’m located in Texas just incase that helps. im a 18 year old female and im graduating high school next year and i want ot go into criminal justice. either a police officer or a probation officer i grew up watching cops on tv all the time and i really seem to like it and i also love to help people and get the bad people off the street when i was 15 i was raped and they never found the guy so i want to be able to help others in situations like that also. i do have a 3 month old baby boy that i need to support so i need a good paying job.

I am wondering and looking for jobs I can do at home through the mail or online. Yes I can do a search, yet all I get is adds on how to work at home. I am looking for actuak job leads for actual work at home jobs. Anyone work such a job and what advice or information can you give me?
My advice is give me proof that this job is legitimate. If I have to buy something to get into it, I am not going to believe you nor go for it.
It has to be availiable to US citizens. Also I know thhe mark of fraud when I see it. When I click on the website and it says make a six figure income within weeks, I know it is bull. I do not want to become rich, I merely want to have an income. I am trying to find help in trying to sort the fact from fiction and want something that offers something realistic.
Owning my bussiness is nice, yet I want a job I can rely on between real jobs.

I am homeschooling my children and thought that maybe I could study along side of them… you know prepare myself with a few classes under my belt… I even considered becoming a phlebotomist until I graduate? Do hospitals offer such programs? What should I actually be googling for? I’m not getting any luck when searching. Its all about advancing already established nursing careers… a few do offer medical but its in the business end of it.

I really think a career in criminal justice would fun because you would be able to go into work every day with a different task and know you are making a difference. However most of the jobs seem to be low-paying and require little to no education and I’m to ambitious to be a prison guard or anything else like that. Are there any high-paying acquirable jobs at the federal level that involve protecting citizens rights or searching for criminals or anything for that matter? How do you get these jobs? I don’t mind staying in school for another 5 years or whatever it takes.

I was wondering if its actually probable for me to get into graduate school. I want to become a psychologist, and I have a 3.8 GPA and Im in grade 11. If I really have the desire to get into grad school, could I do it? Or are the chances slim?

As well, what are some careers that I could have with just a BA in psychology? I’m wondering about salaries too.

What are some career paths I could get with a PhD? I’m interested in social psychology and well-being of people.

I’m not talking about through a major university with an online program, but the other programs such as Excelsior, etc…
Okay, to clarify, I am already an LPN, and I am going to a CC to become an RN. I am asking about the RN to BSN online degrees (I would already be an RN with all of the necessary training). I am just asking whether (since the RN to BSN programs at major universities don’t have clinicals either) whether it is harder to get a job with an online degree vs. one from a major university.

I’m really interested in becoming a psychologist. However I really enjoy anatomy and physiology and studying the human body. It fascinates me! So here’s my question… Are there any psychology careers out there that would involve something like this and would get me a good amount of money or do I need to take a different path for my dream to be a psychologist?

Lately I’ve really been interested in what I want to do with my life, and I’ve been interested in psychology and sociology since I can remember,
But I don’t think I’m a people person?
I’m so interested in how the mind works and how things affect people, but I am really quiet and don’t think I really like people..
Are there any careers in psych or socio logic things that aren’t completely people oriented?

I wanted to take anthropology, urban studies, psych etc in college, but I don’t know if I should if it won’t lead to anything…

Im currently a sophomore in college majoring in psychology. The plan had been to go to medical school to become a psychiatrist but the science courses really aren’t turning out too great. Ive gotten a C in all my science classes so far. Even though I think I can do better from now on Im still not too confident about getting into medical school. Are there any other careers I could get into (going to graduate school if needed) and still make a good amount of money. I know that psychiatrists make in the upper $100,000 and I couldnt make that But I would still like to make close to $100,000.

Just curious. My husband has a Masters in Communications (which appears to be quite useless in this economy). and a bachelors in Psychology (switched majors) and we were just wondering if anyone knew what kind of jobs he can get for now in the Psychology field with a Bachelors degree?
